Medical Office Perspective

Many EMR solutions are attempting to provide you with a pc based means of channeling your entire practice through their software, in short a whole new way to operate your practice.

Our EMR system takes the view that you are comfortable with the way your office handles it's paperwork and processes. We are giving you a way to keep your paper flow, practice flow and charts exactly the way it is, but adding lightining fast online access to those records.

Instead of a nurse requesting a chart from the other side of your building, he/she would bring up the online chart in seconds.

If collections wanted to see an EOB from last year, typically in a box in storage, the days EOB's could be pulled up in seconds, and a single document found online at a fraction of the normal speed.

If billing needed to see a patients insurance card or drivers license, they would pull it up online in a few seconds even though the patient checked in five minutes ago and the chart is at the front desk.

If a physician was at the hospital on a Saturday night, and wanted to see a patients chart, he/she would locate and view the chart in seconds via encrypted web connection, using an ordinary browser and the world wide web.

Sending a prescription to a pharmacy can be done via web browser from anywhere with a few clicks of the mouse. Our system will fax the prescription request to the pharmacy, and place a copy of it in the patients online folder. A refill is one click away from anywhere.

If an office manager wants to remove the last five years of boxes of paperwork and charts from the premises, and relegate it to distant storage, but still wants access to all the data, and lightening fast, then this system will do it for you in the most efficient and low cost manner possible. One office has stored away four years worth of paperwork (50 gigabytes, millions of pages), in the space of about one computer mouse, on a portion of one inexpensive hard drive(not counting backup tapes).

Storage of documents is a labor intensive task. Our method of converting paper to electronic file cannot be any more efficient, no matter how much you pay for a system.

If your office receives consult reports from hospitals and other physicians via fax, our fax to emr solution will convert the faxes to electronic file and print out a hard-copy without any labor on your part. This is a significant, labor saving tool that will allow the patient records to end up in the paper and online chart without the scanning labor.

Your office will save by not using expensive fax machines and laser printers. The average cost per page will drop from six cents per page to around 1.2 cents, not including paper.

Your system will be customizable, by ANY competent programmer, so you will not be locked into this company and its products. We do not have any reason to force the customer into maintenance contracts.
